Upon request for daycares and playgroups
Accompanied by music, children aged 18 months to 5 years old will be able to have joy in their first dance steps alongside their parents.
While still too young to learn more complex classical techniques, children will learn to develop qualities that can be found in the most talented of dancers: musicality, interpretation, movement and a mastery of their bodies.
Each exercise is carefully thought out specifically with this class in mind in order to appropriately instill and understanding of dance basics. The young dancer will develop coordination and locomotion abilities all while having fun! Games, singing and stories are all integral parts of this interactive class. These activities are designed to keep and maintain your child’s attention, all while inspiring creativity.
The class is family oriented, so if a child’s brother, sister or grandparent would like to join us from time to time, they are most welcome.
Parents and children should wear comfortable clothing that allows movement. You can do the class barefoot, in no-slip socks or dance slippers. The instructor requires that the form of your child’s arms and legs should be visible. To accommodate this, we recommend form-fitting clothing or shorts and t-shirts. Where possible, please ensure your child’s face will be visible and is not hidden by their hair.
